How to cancel FuboTV

Steps to cancel FuboTV
- FIRST, figure out HOW you signed up / are billed. If you are not sure, log in at https://www.fubo.tv/subscription. If it shows your normal Fubo plan and next billing date, you were billed directly by Fubo, use the website steps below. If it says 'Roku Subscription', you must cancel through Roku instead (see the Roku steps).
- WEB (billed directly by Fubo): On a computer or mobile browser, go to https://www.fubo.tv and sign in with your Fubo email and password.
- Select a profile from the 'Who's Watching?' screen if prompted.
- Click the settings icon, then choose 'My Account' from the drop-down menu.
- On the My Account screen, select 'Subscription'.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click 'Cancel'.
- Fubo may show a retention screen offering you a discount to stay. If you see this, you are NOT cancelled yet. To finish, click 'CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION' (do not click 'REDEEM OFFER' unless you want to keep the plan).
- A confirmation page will appear indicating your cancellation was successful. Click 'OK' to dismiss it. On a paid plan you keep access until the end of your current billing period; on a free trial, access ends immediately.
- ROKU billing: Cancel on roku.com or on the device. Online: sign in at my.roku.com, find Fubo under your subscriptions, click 'Unsubscribe', then confirm with 'Yes, Unsubscribe'. On the device: press Home, highlight the Fubo app, press the Star (*) button, choose 'Manage subscription', then 'Cancel subscription' and confirm.
- VERIFY: log back in at https://www.fubo.tv/subscription (or check Roku) and confirm the status shows your subscription is set to cancel (it will show the end date) or already cancelled. If you cancelled on the wrong platform you will keep getting billed, so confirm on the platform that actually charges you.

Things to watch out for
- You must cancel on the SAME platform that bills you. Fubo's own support docs say subscriptions are billed either directly by Fubo (card on file) or through Roku. If you signed up through Roku, cancelling on fubo.tv does nothing and you keep getting charged. Check the billing source at fubo.tv/subscription first.
- A discount/retention offer can appear during cancellation. If you only saw the discount screen, you are NOT cancelled. You must click through and hit the final 'CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION' confirmation and see the success page.
- Cancelling does NOT end access immediately on a paid plan. Your subscription stays active through the end of the current billing cycle (you are billed in advance), then it stops renewing.
- Fubo does NOT give refunds for prepaid or partial months of service, so there is no refund benefit to cancelling mid-cycle versus right before renewal.
- Free trial timing: if you signed up on Fubo's website and cancel during a free trial, access ends immediately and you do not get the remaining trial days. If you signed up via Roku and cancel during the trial, access continues until the trial's end date. Either way, cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge.
- Promotional plans with a commitment period may carry an early-cancellation fee if you cancel before the commitment ends. Most standard Fubo plans have no cancellation fee.
- Cancelling stops billing but does not delete your account. If you log back in later you will see options to reactivate, and former customers are not eligible for another free trial.
- If you bought Fubo through an app store or device store (rare, and not documented in Fubo's own help center), you would have to cancel in that store, not on fubo.tv. Confirm the actual biller on your fubo.tv subscription page before assuming.
Refunds
Fubo does not provide refunds for prepaid or partial months of service. After you cancel a paid plan, access continues through the end of the current billing cycle (you are billed in advance) and then does not renew. For a Roku-billed subscription, any refund question is handled by Roku under Roku's own policy, not by Fubo.
Verified against FuboTV's official support domain (support.fubo.tv) as of June 2026; the primary cancellation article was updated within the last ~3 weeks. Cancellation is fully self-service online for direct subscribers (settings icon > My Account > Subscription > Cancel), so no phone call or in-person visit is required. Fubo's fastest support channel is live chat (10 AM to 10 PM ET) via the chat icon on support.fubo.tv; a 24/7 virtual assistant and a 'Submit a request' web form are also available. Phone support is 844-441-3826, 10 AM to 10 PM ET, 7 days a week. The account management URL per Fubo's own billing docs is fubo.tv/account (Billing and account pages); fubo.tv/subscription is Fubo's official page to check how you signed up and confirm cancellation status. Pausing/holding is offered in some cases (see support.fubo.tv 'Can I pause my Fubo subscription'). Corrected from the draft: the cancel path is 'My Account > Subscription' (not a 'Subscription & Billing' section); phone hours are published (draft left them blank); the draft over-stated Apple/Amazon/Google Play billing, which Fubo's own help center does not document (only direct and Roku); and the draft's en-ca Roku source URL was a dead 404, replaced with the live Roku-billed article.
