How to cancel Noom

If you subscribed through an app store: Billing source determines where you cancel, and this trips up many Noom users. If you subscribed directly on noom.com (card charged by 'Noom'), cancel through Noom at https://account.noom.com or in the app. But if you signed up inside the Noom app via the Apple App Store (iOS/iPadOS) or Google Play Store (Android), that platform handles billing and you must cancel there; cancelling inside Noom or deleting the app will not stop those charges. Apple (iPhone/iPad): open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap the Noom subscription, then tap Cancel Subscription (you may need to scroll; a red expiration message means it is already cancelled). Google Play (Android): on your Android device go to Subscriptions in Google Play, select Noom, tap Cancel subscription, and follow the instructions. Quick check on which applies: a 'Noom' line item on your card means direct billing; an 'Apple' or 'Google' charge means app-store billing. For app-store purchases, refunds also go through Apple or Google, not Noom, because they collected the payment.

Steps to cancel Noom

  1. FIRST, find out who bills you. If you signed up directly on noom.com, cancel through Noom (steps below). If you signed up inside the Noom iPhone/iPad app or the Android app, you may have been billed by Apple or Google and must cancel there instead (see billed_via_appstore_note). A quick check: a 'Noom' charge on your card statement points to direct billing; a charge from 'Apple' or 'Google' points to app-store billing.
  2. DIRECT BILLING, via the web Subscription Portal: Go to https://account.noom.com (sign-in page is https://account.noom.com/login) and sign in with your Noom login. Reset your password first if needed.
  3. Click 'Cancel Subscription' and follow the on-screen steps.
  4. Follow the prompts to the end. Noom's cancellation flow commonly presents retention offers at this point (a discounted rate, a plan pause, or a free coaching session). To fully cancel, decline each offer and keep choosing the option that continues cancellation rather than 'pause' or 'accept discount'.
  5. Continue until you reach a final confirmation that your subscription is cancelled. Watch for a cancellation confirmation and keep it as proof.
  6. DIRECT BILLING, alternative via the Noom app: Open the app, tap your profile picture (top-left), tap Settings, then Manage Subscription, and follow the prompts to cancel. Decline retention offers the same way.
  7. Note on timing: Cancelling stops future renewals but does not end the current term early. Per Noom's official FAQ, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing cycle, even if you cancel mid-cycle. Cancel before your next billing date to avoid the next charge.
  8. Important: Uninstalling the Noom app does not cancel your subscription. You will keep getting charged until you actively cancel.

Watch for the save offer. During cancellation Noom commonly offers retention deals: a discounted rate, a plan pause (it can pause for a number of weeks), or a free coaching session. A 'pause' keeps the subscription and resumes billing later; it is not a cancellation. To fully cancel, decline every offer and keep selecting the option that continues cancellation until you reach a final confirmation.

Refunds

Noom does not refund renewal charges. For Noom Weight, a refund of the initial charge may be available if requested within 14 days of your first charge via the in-app/portal chat (orange chat bubble in the bottom-right of the support page) or the contact form; provide your charge date and reason. Program-specific rules: Noom Med refunds are not available once a prescription has been written; Telehealth for Branded Meds allows refunds within 7 days of the first charge unless a clinical visit has occurred. If you were billed through Apple or Google, request the refund from Apple Support or Google Play, not Noom.
