Steps to cancel MasterClass
- FIRST, identify where you originally subscribed, because that determines where you must cancel. If you signed up directly on masterclass.com, follow the website steps below. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android), Roku, or Amazon, you MUST cancel through that platform instead (see the app-store note).
- WEBSITE CANCELLATION (subscriptions bought directly on masterclass.com): Open a web browser and go to www.masterclass.com, then log in to your account. Note: you cannot cancel inside the MasterClass mobile app; you must use a web browser.
- Click your profile or account menu in the top right and select 'Settings' (Account Settings).
- Find the 'Membership' / 'Subscription' section and click 'Cancel Membership'.
- Follow the on-screen prompts and select 'Cancel Now' to confirm and complete the cancellation.
- Confirm it worked: you should see your membership marked to end at your current billing period's end, and you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not get a confirmation email, the cancellation may not have gone through; repeat the steps or contact support.
- Your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period (you are not cut off immediately). A monthly plan stays active until the next monthly renewal date; an annual plan stays active until one year from purchase.
- ALTERNATIVE for website subscribers: If you cannot reach the Settings page, you can cancel by emailing support@masterclass.com from the email address on your MasterClass account, or by starting a live chat after logging in. MasterClass only processes a cancellation when it is confirmed by the account holder from the account's email address.
- iOS / APPLE APP STORE (if you subscribed via the MasterClass iPhone/iPad app): Open the iPhone Settings app and tap your name at the top. Tap 'Subscriptions', select the 'MasterClass' subscription, then tap 'Cancel Subscription'. It cancels at the end of the current billing period.

- You CANNOT cancel inside the MasterClass mobile app, even for website subscriptions. You must use a web browser at www.masterclass.com (or use the relevant app store if you subscribed there).
