Steps to cancel Rosetta Stone
- FIRST determine WHERE you bought it: directly from rosettastone.com, or through the Apple App Store / Google Play. You must cancel where you subscribed.
- IF PURCHASED DIRECT FROM ROSETTA STONE (newer Sapphire account): On a computer, sign in to Rosetta Stone Sapphire in a web browser.
- Click or tap the profile icon in the top right-hand corner and go to 'Account settings'.
- Select 'Manage subscription', then click 'Cancel subscription'.
- IF PURCHASED DIRECT (older/Classic account): On a computer, sign in, click your current learning language in the top toolbar, select 'My Account', then under 'Your products' select 'TURN OFF AUTO RENEW'.
- Note: a direct Rosetta Stone purchase canNOT be canceled in the mobile app or on the mobile website; you must use a computer/web browser.
- IF BILLED VIA APPLE (iOS): Open iPhone/iPad Settings, tap your name, tap 'Subscriptions', tap Rosetta Stone, then tap 'Cancel Subscription' (scroll down if needed). Rosetta Stone cannot cancel an Apple-billed subscription for you.
- IF BILLED VIA GOOGLE PLAY (Android): Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, tap 'Payments & subscriptions' then 'Subscriptions', select Rosetta Stone, and tap 'Cancel subscription'.

Things to watch out for
- Cancel where you bought it. App Store / Google Play subscriptions are NOT cancelable through Rosetta Stone; you must cancel in Apple or Google. The Rosetta Stone Sapphire mobile app is billed through these stores (the App Store listing states 'Payment will be charged to your Apple account').
- A subscription bought directly from Rosetta Stone canNOT be canceled in the mobile app or mobile website. You must sign in on a computer/web browser.
