If you subscribed through an app store: Critical for Patreon. If you subscribed through the Patreon iOS app, Apple processes the payment and Patreon CANNOT cancel it for you. The cancel button will be missing inside Patreon, and you must cancel in iOS Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Patreon > Cancel Subscription. Memberships started on patreon.com (web), on mobile web, or on Android are billed directly by Patreon and are canceled in Patreon's Manage memberships (Settings > Memberships). Steps to cancel Patreon

FIRST determine who bills you: if you joined through the Patreon iOS app, Apple bills you and you MUST cancel in iOS Settings (not inside Patreon). If you joined on patreon.com (web), on mobile web, or on Android, Patreon bills you directly and you cancel on Patreon. Check Settings > Memberships or your card statement to see whether the charge is from Patreon or from Apple.
